About the Course
The Photography Workshop for Beginners is for those interested in learning about photography composition and techniques to enhance everyday photos. Learn to tell a visual story, capture a moment, or create a beautiful scene. No experience necessary. The class will take place on 1/22 and 1/24 (times and details below).
This workshop consists of two parts each occurring on a different day: Part 1: an interactive presentation on photography fundamentals, theory, composition, techniques, settings, and basic editing (duration: 2 hours)
Part 2: a photowalk workshop in the outdoors where we practice what we learned, ask questions, and end with a casual sharing & feedback discussion (duration: 2 hours).Â
Before the workshop I will send a short questionnaire to help me understand your experience and interests.Â
After the two sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to practice on your own over the next few days before you’re invited to submit a few photos to me, to which I will provide thoughts & feedback. I’ll also answer any questions that came up and give suggestions for next steps in your photography journey.Â
